The City of Silver Lake is hiring a Deputy Clerk
​
The City of Silver Lake is currently seeking applications for a Deputy Clerk.
​
Duties include, but are not limited to accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, utility billing, routine ledger entries, reconciliation of accounts, tax payments and retention of documents. This position also assists with the elections and performs the Clerk's duties in their absence.
​
Candidates must have a high school diploma and prior accounting/bookkeeping experience; an associates degree in accounting and familiarity with MS Office and Accounting software is preferred.
​
This is a 32 hour per week position with excellent benefits including health insurance, retirement, vacation, sick, ESST, personal leave and holiday pay. The pay range for this position is $20.53-25.65 per hour DOQ.
