        • I was born in Minneapolis, and grew up in Maple Plain, MN & Medina, MN

      • When did you move to Silver Lake?

        • We moved to Silver lake in approximately 2015

      • Family:

        • "It's complicated". My husband Bob & I are empty-nesters.  I raised 9 children (Two are now deceased) from a previous relationship. Bob has 3 adult children from a previous relationship.  Between us we have 14 Grandchildren.

      • What motivated you to run for office?

        • I really enjoy our small town. I like the people and the sense of community.  I want to do what I can to help our community grow, and be the very best it can be.  That being said, there are some decisions that have been made on behalf of our community that I have felt were mistakes.  So instead of just complaining, I decided to step up and do what I can to help improve the situations.

      • What are some hobbies you enjoy?

        • I'm an avid outdoors person.  I love softball, fishing, golfing, working with my dogs and traveling.  I also am a late blooming wildlife artist, so much of my time is spent in my studio/office painting. Of course playing with our Grandchildren is one of my favorite things to do!

      • What are your goals for Silver Lake?

        • My only goal is to leave Silver Lake better than it was when I arrived.

      • What's a fun fact about you?

        • I Volunteer in Search & Rescue.  Me and my 2 two bloodhounds are Nationally Certified in Mantrailing, and we volunteer our time to find lost and missing children, vulnerable adults, lost hunters & elderly folks who have wandered off. We work with Law Enforcement & Fire Departments and are on call 24/7 . We do this completely free of charge.
