Parks & Recreation

The City of Silver Lake is proud to have wonderful green spaces, recreational areas, a community swimming pool and direct access to miles of paved trail on the Luce Line Trail.

The park facilities are available to groups and citizens to use for family gatherings, group parties, picnics, meetings, and other events. The city does not take reservations for park facilities, so they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Lion's Park

Fishing Piers

  • There are two fishing piers located on the north side of Silver Lake
    • One is on the west end of town by Cedar Crest
    • The other is located on the east end of town by the elementary school

Luce Line Trail

  • The Luce Line Trail is located just to the northof Highway 7 that runs through town. The trail is paved from Hutchinson to Winsted.
