The City of Silver Lake contracts with the McLeod County Sheriff's Department to provide police services. The McLeod County Sheriff's Office is committed to providing professional community-oriented police services to the citizens of Silver Lake and McLeod County as well as making a positive difference in the lives of our citizens through professionally supported and trained police officers.
