Planning Commission Member

The Silver Lake City Council is looking for an individual interested in serving as a member of the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission plays a vital role in ensuring that the plans for growth and development for the city are followed and changed as needed. Responsibilities include issuing conditional use permits and variances, changes to the zoning map, and attending regular meetings of the Planning Commission.

Requirements: Must be a resident of Silver Lake for at least 30 days and have a desire to get involved in the community.

This is an appointed position by the City Council. Members serve three-year terms, so this position would run from 2026-2028.
